The Waynoka Air-Rail Museum

Waynoka Air-Rail Museum
The big brass bell from a Santa Fe steam engine was donated by Dr. and Mrs. Roy Camp of Enid, Oklahoma and is on display at the Waynoka Air-Rail Museum, located on the second floor of the Harvey House.
The Waynoka Air-Rail Museum is on the second floor of the restored Harvey House, and is accessible by elevator. Originally, the Harvey Girls, the women who worked in the Harvey House restaurant on the first floor, lived on the second floor. One room has been retained as a Harvey Girl bedroom. Two main galleries and a conference room showcase the town's history.

Exhibits in the Waynoka Air-Rail Museum cover a variety of topics. They include pioneers, Santa Fe Railroad, Cherokee Strip, Fred Harvey, Transcontinental Air Transport, German POW art, community and schools, and many others. The Museum has rare artifacts, an extensive photograph collection, and original art and art prints.

Waynoka was one of Oklahoma's most historic transportation centers. The unique and fascinating history is told in the Waynoka Air-Rail Museum.
